Minister talks with vice chancellors and Pro-Chancellors over the ASUU strike

Vice Chancellors and Pro-Chancellors of federal universities are meeting with the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, to discuss how to put an end to the ongoing Academic Staff Union of Universities strike actions.
The Minister referred to the Academic Staff Union's indefinite strike measures as "personal pain and internal Pain" when giving out his presentation to the Vice Chancellors and Pro-Chancellors.

He asserts that the government's and ASUU's present perspectives on the course of the negotiations appear to have coincided.

According to the minister, the ASUU president reportedly stated that the union would no longer engage in negotiations with the current federal administration.

To save the nation's educational system, he added, this attitude must be fought.
